Bird Block #1 – “A Celebration of Spring!”

This enchanting applique block is a celebration of spring…can’t you just  hear the birds singing?!  It features the lovely shapes of the Appli-K-Kutz Stylized Stems #2 die, the Plume Family die, the Tulips die, and the Bird, Simple or Fancy die. These luscious shapes have decorative stitching along their edges and many shapes also feature internal  stitched designs as well…applique has never been so intricate or so beautiful!

This 15-inch quilt block is created in 4 hoopings and the design files  have the following stitching areas:

Panel 1 - 6.09 in x 9.80 in

Panel 2 – 6.00 in x 8.38 in

Panel 3 – 4.78 in x 9.96 in

Panel 4 – 4.78 in x 9.95 in

This downloadable product will come as 1 zipped folder containing 4 digital files. We want you to have a successful stitchout, so please watch the video tutorial below to see how easily this 4-part split design is created!

We have posted the maximum stitched sizes for these files, but know that embroidery machines also require a "frame" around the stitched area, so your hoop's available stitching area will need to be larger than our stated stitching area.  Because downloadable products are not returnable/exchangeable, it is important that you make your selections thoughtfully.

***If you don’t see your machine’s file format here, you can purchase one of the listed formats and convert it to a format that fits your embroidery machine.  There are numerous internet sites that offer free file format conversion if you do not have embroidery digitizing/conversion software. The file will be in a zipped folder. To unzip this folder, simply right-click on the folder and select "extract all". This file will then appear on your desktop.
