Westalee Ruler Foot Kit #1

The Westalee Domestic Quilting Ruler Foot allows you to free motion quilt with rulers on almost any domestic sewing machine. Make sure you have the appropriate ruler foot and rulers for your particular machine.
Once your foot is mounted on the machine, you will need to center the needle so that it is in the center of the foot.
The size of foot varies depending on your machine, and we currently offer 2 different sizes in Kit#1 based on the 3500 different machines in the market today. Options are medium shank and high shank...low shank in Kit #1 is not available through us. We still offer the low shank foot as a foot-only purchase or low shank foot in Kit #2.
Included in this Complete Starter Kit: One ruler foot (medium or high shank), 12” Arc Template, adjustment guide and stable tape (See photo 2 above).
This kit is IDENTICAL Westalee Ruler Starter Kit#2, except it does not include the Feather Template.
Foot & Template Thickness:
If you do not know what shank your machine is, all you need to do is lower your foot and then measure the height of the center of the hole for the screw from the needle plate. See the 2 diagrams below to determine if your machine is high shank vs low shank:

Medium Shank Ruler Foot: For Berninas, the series 7 and series 8 machines use the medium shank ruler foot with the #77 Bernina adaptor. For a selection of Pfaff Machines that have a Dynamic Setting: Creative Sensation Pro, Creative Sensation, Creative Vision, Creative Performance, Creative 4.5, 4.0, 3.0, 2.0, Performance 5.0, Quilt Expression 4.2, 4.0, Expression 3.5, 3.2, 3.0, 2.0, Expression 150.(Other Pfaff models use the Low Shank Foot.)
